During rehearsals for the ceremony paying tribute to the victims of the November 13, 2015 attack, beams of light were projected from the forecourt of Saint-Gervais church into the clouds of the Parisian sky. The result was a stunning display of white northern lights over the Luxembourg Gardens.
The images filmed on this occasion are used in the animated graphic sequence.
