After the pure geometric forms of the rectangular lines and surfaces, here is a kind of organic fabric with fleeting, changing and uncertain appearances like those of a living matter.

Here, no more lines on a black background, but a dozen flat surfaces of rectangular perimeter that move in the beam of several light sources.

Lines all in motion, curves and volutes....

Note that the pink lines of the first forty-five seconds are the image of a single deformation of a unique 3d object, viewed successively from six different angles; the resulting aspect is quite different from one angle of view to the other.

Animation softwares make it possible to simulate a light radiation.  But this effect can also help animate shapes and colors:

The video breaks down or merges elements of nine drawings that had been made in recent months as fixed compositions. Originally in black and white , these elements are sometimes immersed in a bath of colors that result of roughly eight different base tones.

More than a thousand drawings made "by hand" for three minutes of animated sequence...

Triangular surfaces, sticks, ribbons, cloudy backgrounds: sole basic elements for a three-movement composition.

On the progressively changing funds, the triangles quickly pass as punctual elements; ribbons aggregate in flat surfaces or slowly undulate; sticks sometimes appear isolated or often assemble together to form moving waves.
