A quiet journey through landscapes made of moving clouds, black lines and coloured shapes, all digitally drawn, sometimes with a background of real elements filmed on the fly.

From one end of each version to the other, the same almost continuous line slips and winds towards the horizon.
First version: the course of the line is punctuated by various plays of light or short passages of drawn elements.
Second version: along the line, here a little bit longer, various extracts of old animated sequences appear, sometimes in a slightly modified aspect. I leave it to the courageous visitor to identify these sequences among all those presented on the site.
Five drawn lines merge with actual shootings of sea foam curves.
The sequence marks the return to pure drawing, here very colourful.
Each of the three movements is derived from a single numerical composition that appears at least once in its entirety; elsewhere in the movement, the various graphic elements appear in changing colours, with a sharp or sometimes blurred definition, in still or moving position, seen from the front or from various angles of perspective.
On a background of real aquatic surfaces, the compositions presented in the "clouds" section appear and disappear throughout the four movements of the sequence.
Plane trails in the Paris sky, boat wakes in the Arcachon basin or the Mediterranean sea, pure drawn elements ... and sometimes the passage of a bird not really desired, but difficult to erase from the original video.
Where we find the natural elements appearing in the last two sequences, in different arrangements and colours, in an almost unchanged chronological order.
First version of the sequence: a rather fast running of the elements ...
Second version of the sequence: slower running and the dominant blue colour ...
Third version: even slower, and all in black and white except for a few seconds.
Water again, here in all its states: vaporous, liquid or solid.
first movement: the volutes emitted by the geysers of El Tatio in Chile, the swell near South Georgia and the ice of the Antarctic Peninsula.
second movement: the waves of the Arctic and Antarctic oceans.
third movement: the sprawling expanses of Lake Titicaca or the Pacific off the coast of Peru, and again the geysers of El Tatio.
A sequence mainly using videos shot during a recent trip to Bolivia, Chile and Peru, wich reflect a continuous movement in a setting of natural elements.
first movement: a long flying over the surface of the Salar de Uyuni, a salt lake with a surface area of 11,000 square kilometres in Bolivia; depending on the places, the surface looks very different and is reproduced here as it appears, apart from a few rare digital treatments.
second movement: fast run on the salar, following closely, or from far away, the lines traced by the ground markings of a road winding through the Chilean Atacama Desert.
third movement: still in the salar, slow sunrise on the horizon; in the foreground, new salt surfaces in Uyuni or the vast water expanses of the Pacific Ocean along the coast of Peru.
